Data Collection Methods

Your data collection method should align to your primary goals when measuring student progress. Refer to the Data Collection Planning Guide and the Data Collection Tools provided.

Describe the skills, behaviors, or objectives you plan to track for the lesson(s).

Describe the primary goal for collecting this data.

Describe a provided template/tool or describe a self-created data collection tool for use in tracking the data.

Describe how many data points should be collected, and the proposed start and end dates.

Data Analysis Plan

Predict the conclusions of the collected data and plan possible reteaching strategies. After the lesson, you can use the Data Analysis Guide to determine whether your prediction here is accurate.

Predict the skills and strategies most students should be successful with.

Predict the skills and strategies most students may need to continue practicing.

Predict how the students will be weak in a skill or strategy and what specifically you predict they may misunderstand throughout the lesson.

Describe a brief plan for how you would reteach ideas and correct predicted misconceptions.

Your answers will be turned into a PDF you can download. You'll then need to upload that PDF to your course.
